While some bloggers smash eInk based eReaders when comapring them to iPad and other bloggers adamantly opposing them with the argument that backlit LCD-based iPad is not a eReader and due to different screen technology and heavy case of outlet dependence and therefore can’t be compared, one company has taken their eInk based eReader and moved it to the opposing camp of LCD-based devices. This company is Barnes & Noble and the device in question is NOOKColor.
