A company called AlphaUi has come up with a new concept for adding some tactile keys to tablets — something that they so sorely lack. Their plan is simple — since the whole of the front is pretty much unusable unless you want to increase the size of it, the only other way is to use the back of the tablet.
So if your tablet is in between 5-7 inches (5inch Dell Streak owners rejoice), you can attach the AlphaUi keypad to the back of your tablet. It will give you 24 keys to work with and they are all fully customizable for added user comfort. In fact, the company is so confident about their device, they have state that users can achieve speeds like 250 characters per minute using their device. Of course, they will need time to adjust to it first.
